2010 UPPAbaby Vista Stroller at Magic Beans

As a Boston-based company, we are especially thrilled when our favorite products were dreamed up and even manufactured in our own neighborhood. So, you can imagine our excitement when we discovered the UPPAbaby Vista straight out of Rockland, Massachusetts. With its included bassinet and toddler seat, premium organic fabrics, and no-flat tires, this luxury stroller is a wonderful value (as well as a pretty piece of eye candy!).

Now, with the New Year in swing, we get to add the UPPAbaby Vista 2010 to our collection and want to share all the details. The designers have kept all the fabulous features we already love, and added several more to make the Vista even better.

What’s different for 2010? For starters, now that UPPAbaby has hit their groove, they are premiering a beautiful new hue. We love the special edition Maya (yellow) fabric. This lively shade will bring a ray of sunshine into even the dreariest winter days, and will be a perfect color for moving into the spring season (if we will it, it will come). Additionally, they have added a 0-position seat angle for upright sitting, an even easier brake system to activate, an extended seat height, and more.

Go organic. As we are all learning, organic fabrics are just as great for babies as they are for the environment. UPPAbaby has updated the Vista to include an organic latex bassinet mattress, a wonderful addition to their already eco- and human-friendly materials. This mattress is hypo-allergenic and anti-microbial, making it a great choice for your most delicate new family member. The material safely contours to your baby’s body, but is breathable and light enough to be a completely safe material for baby to nap upon.

As always, the UPPAbaby Vista includes a bassinet and reversible stroller seat, a convenient zip-in weather shield, and a mesh bug/sun shield. Not only does this company consider the needs of parents - like having completely removable and machine washable fabric, a full-size, easy access basket, car seat compatibility, and an elevated seat and bassinet height that brings your child so much closer to you – the UPPAbaby concern for the environment are more than admirable. Their bassinets are fully lined with organic soybean fiber and cotton, and the foam-filled tires, which are a rubber-coated chrome finish, will never leave you with a flat.
