Moms drive a LOT. On average, men drive more (16,500 miles a year), and women less (10,100), but moms add a lot of extra miles. From infancy through childhood and up through high school, you’ve got pediatricians' appointments, baby classes, sports, activities, and so on, up until suddenly you find yourself waving goodbye as your kid embarks for college. (It all goes by so fast!)
For all those marathon hours of driving you'll be putting in, you want a car seat that provides quality protection for the long haul: the Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat! Along with superior safety technology, this car seat features Britax's revolutionary ClickTight system, which ensures a simple, tight installation in three easy steps:
Only a correctly installed car seat will provide full protection for your child on the go, and ClickTight makes it easy!
As with all Britax car seats, the Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat also features an array of technologically advanced safety features to keep kids safe when accidents happen, including:
The Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat is airline certified, so it can protect your child on a plane as well.
Use the Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat rear-facing with your baby from 5-40 pounds (children should ride rear-facing for as long as possible), forward-facing from 20-65 pounds.
Easy to install, easy to adjus harnesst, baby is comfortable, fits well in car
difficult to adjust position once installed
I was able to quickly install this in my Nissan Versa hatchback (rear facing using the LATCH system). My 9 month old was comfortable enough to fall asleep on the ride home. The car seat wins on both ease of installation and comfortable for baby. The harness is also very easy to adjust. I appreciate that these seats were clearly called out for being made post-recall. I did double check the manufacture date and everything checked out. We just purchased a second one for our other car.
