About the MBTA Green Line Single Wooden Car

Boston may be a small city, but it's packed with history: along with key sites from the Revolutionary War and some of the country's oldest and most prestigious universities, Boston boasts one of the oldest train lines in America. The Green Line subway has been trundling along under downtown Boston for well over 100 years, and is still one of the most important arteries for travel through our beloved city.

So naturally, little Bostonians won't consider their train collection complete without the MBTA Green Line Single Wooden Car from WardMaps! This beautifully authentic replica of the MBTA Type 8 Light Rail Vehicles currently in use on the Green Line is made to fit with tracks and trains from all of your child's favorite brands, including Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway, Melissa & Doug, Brio, Kidkraft, and more. Magnets at the front and rear of the train allow it to link up with other wooden trains, so kids can add it to endless train configurations!

The MBTA Green Line Single Wooden Car from WardMaps is made with solid hardwood, and measures 4.75" x 1.25" x 2". Suggested for ages 3 and up.

finally a green line

durable, Boston, Green

We live in Boston and had several of the other colored subways. Now we can add to the collection especially since we use the green line for transportation. My grandsons love having it part of their train set.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
