These chunky triangular crayons for kids are designed to be gripped from any angle – there’s no wrong way to hold them. Each Alex Jr. Tots First Crayon has a baby face embossed on one side and a textured inset on the other, so kids can experiment with the easiest way to hold the crayon. There’s no paper around the Tots First Crayons blocking the color, so every side can scribble. Scribbling helps your child develop fine motor control, which will help her grip writing implements as she gets older. And finally, the chunky shape of Tots First Crayons means that if they’re dropped or thrown, they won’t shatter, preventing tears!
