About the Onaroo Teach Me Time! Talking Alarm ClockThe Teach Me Time talking alarm clock from American Innovative is one of our favorite products. If you have a pre-schooler or kindergartener who is just learning how to tell time, this is the perfect way to encourage their learning and independence while also helping make sure they get out of bed on time in the morning!
The alarm clock doubles as a night light, making it a fabulous multitasking room accessory. During the night the light glows yellow, and the yellow light changes to green as soon as it's time to wake up in the morning. The clock also features a teaching mode that allows kids to practice telling time; the clock will display a random time for kids to guess, and then they can press one of the round buttons on the clock's toes to hear the clock speak the correct answer.
To switch things up a bit, the Teach Me Time alarm clock comes with interchangeable accent rings that encircle the clock face so kids can change the look from time to time. An AC power adapter is included.

The nightlight function is pure genius! He stays in bed until the night light goes off at 7am, and he is so proud of himself because mommy and daddy don't have to come wake him up. It's worked magic. Every morning now, he comes running into our room minutes after the light turns green ( screaming "green!"), which is now at a much more reasonable 6 a.m. This is our new sleep essential.
