About the Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller 2013Bigger is not necessary better: small size has many advantages. A smaller cell phone is easier to carry, a smaller car is easier to park, a smaller house is easier to clean, and a smaller stroller is a must in the bustle of a crowded city. Which is just one of the reasons why the Baby Jogger City Mini stroller is such a perennial favorite.
The Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller keeps all the functionality and sporty style of previous models, with some minor tweaks – after all, our friends at Baby Jogger are too smart to mess with success. This 17-pound beauty still boasts the qualities that make it a favorite of moms everywhere:
This year, Baby Jogger has made the City Mini fold even better: it now has a fold-lock, so it stays closed more easily for storage. Plus, the City Mini has a 1” deeper seat, giving kids more cozy space to lounge, and the U-shaped bar in the back of the stroller has been deepened to give you better access to the under-seat basket.
The City Mini also has a fresh new look, with a new variety of colors and cool contrast stitching around the seat, which provides an optical illusion that makes the seat look wider.
As with past models, the City Mini is compatible with all sorts of handy accessories:
And of course, you can double your Mini with the Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller, which maintains the single’s maneuverability and keeps a limited footprint, so you don’t take up the whole sidewalk while strolling with your growing brood.
The Baby Jogger City Mini stroller maintains this model’s well-deserved reputation as a tiny dynamo. If you don’t believe us, just walk down your city street and look around – it won’t take you a long time to find a mom who’s pushing one. Specifications

5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Lightweight and super easy to useJune 7th, 2012 1 out of 1 person found this review helpful Pros: Easy To Steer, Easy To Set Up, Easily Stowed, Sturdy, Lightweight Love this stroller. I wanted something lightweight and easy to fold since I'm not a strong person. This one is beautiful and I can really fold it with one hand while holding a 16 lb baby on the other. It also easily fit into the trunk of my Toyota Corolla with room to spare as it folds up super tiny and flat. It is super easy to maneuver with one hand. A downside is there are no accessories included and it is not a cheap stroller (although quality is great). I bought an off-brand parent console from [@] and it works great. Eventually I think we'll need to buy a child console as well. My baby appears to be really comfortable in it, although I used an infant insert a little at first before I was confident he wouldn't need it (Snuzzler). He is four months old and that seems to be a good age to start using this instead of the carseat + frame combo that we had been rocking previously. The recline feature is simple but feels sturdy (i.e. doesn't feel like he'll fall backwards on it). It reclines almost flat. The canopy is huge! Love it. Baby likes to see through the top window to look at me when we walk. Assembly is very straightforward. There are snaps to prevent the stroller form folding up when in use. Had heard about some issues with kicking the brake while walking, but haven't noticed any problems. I can't unlock the brake while wearing sandals or flimsy shoes though since it's a little tough to flip (probably a good thing for safety).Very glad we purchased this stroller. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review Baby Jogger City Mini Stroller 2013 Lovey Medford MA
5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Great Stroller and great priceFebruary 23rd, 2012 Pros: Comfortable, Sturdy, Durable, Lightweight, Easy To Steer My sister bought this for me for my first child. I have a bad back and so I needed something light. We went to Magic Beans and the store employees were so helpful. They didn't try to sell us the most expensive but showed us what we were looking for (lightweight)This stroller is so nice and the easiest I felt to open and close. My sister ended up liking it better than her other brand one and bought herself the double. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. 4.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Love it!February 22nd, 2012 2 out of 2 people found this review helpful Pros: Easy To Steer, Lightweight, Sturdy, Easily Stowed, Easy To Set Up, Durable I have the 2011 version of this stroller. I rented a double while in Disney and liked it so much I came home and bought the single for my 9 month old. I love how easy it is to fold (just pull up the handle on the seat) and that it's lightweight and compact. Love how the seat reclines almost all the way back for baby. I also really liked how the canopy really shades the baby...my old stroller did not do that. It's also great to steer with the 360* wheel at the front. I see the 2012 model has better access to the underseat basket...that will be a plus. Highly recommend!! Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review
