Blah Blah Blog. They’re everywhere, so why read this one? Well, sure, you can read lots of great blogs written by parents who have a lot of insight into great baby gear. But this one is a bit different. Yes, I am a mom. I have two little girls, ages 3 and 1 and I’m definitely a gearhead. By the time my first daughter celebrated her first birthday, I had 11 strollers. I was so into strollers, in fact, that when I decided to open a toy store, I decided I had to sell strollers, too. So Magic Beans was born, an unusual fusion of toys and baby gear.

Think you smell a rat? No worries. My goal isn’t to get you to shop in my store, though you’re certainly welcome. It’s just that we have a lot of information and expertise, and until now, our employees have been the exclusive beneficiaries of this wisdom, while our customers keep asking us to write a book. Maybe someday, when we’ve got a lot more time on our hands, we’ll write that book, but for now, this will have to do. So I’m going to try to give you the straight story, not only from my perspective as a mom, but as an industry insider as well. Enjoy!
