New and Improved Design

   Bugaboo has heard customer feedback from the Bugaboo Turtle infant car seat and used it to improve on their original design. The changes that have been made make the Bugaboo Turtle One a more refined and easier to use infant car seat than its predecessor. The adapters have been changed to be compatible with only Bugaboo strollers Donkey, Fox, Lynx, Bee, Ant, and Cameleon 3/3+ for more travel system options and details like the extendable sunshade have been updated to be more user friendly. 

Industry-Leading Security Features

   The Bugaboo Turtle One is designed to ensure a secure ride home from the hospital on day one and continue to keep your little one protected in the car until they outgrow the seat. The car seat base is easy to install and has bubble levels to minimize user error. Simply line up the rigid LATCH connectors with the ISOFIX latches in your vehicle seat and push to attach the base to your car for a three-second safe installation. If your LATCHes are inaccessible or you are traveling in a car without ISOFIX latches, the base also has a seat belt lockoff to aid in installation without using LATCHes. 

   For urban families and frequent travelers, the Bugaboo Turtle One features a European belt path that allows you to install the car seat without the base. This makes it much easier and more convenient to install in taxis, Ubers, and other modes of public transportation. The Bugaboo Turtle One is also FAA approved for aircraft travel.

   The Bugaboo Turtle One base has an integrated steel stability load leg that helps reduce crash forces and transfer them away from the car seat and back into the floor of the vehicle. Comfortable EPP foam provides the ultimate side impact protection for your baby. These top-of-the-line security features helped the Bugaboo Turtle One earn the “Best” crash protection rating from Consumer Reports, so you can ride with the peace of mind that your baby is in good hands.

The soft fabrics lining the car seat are Oeko-Tex certified and the natural merino wool baby insert provides optimal climate control to keep your little passenger comfortable in all weather conditions. Like the Nuna Pipa RX’s amazing Dream Drape, the Bugaboo Turtle One’s Snooze Shade extends from the UPF 50+ protective canopy to provide full sun coverage and plenty of air mesh for ventilation. For extra ventilation in the summertime and to easily check on your baby while on-the-go, the Bugaboo Turtle One canopy features a large mesh peekaboo window with silent magnetic closures.
