about the Britax B-Agile Stroller

Every professional sport favors a certain body type. Think of how a basketball player (extremely tall, skinny) looks next to a baseball player (compact, muscular) looks next to a football player (generally massive) looks next to a soccer player (looks great in shorts). It’s the same with strollers: their body type is tailored for their specific purpose and performance.

The Britax B-Agile Stroller is a lightweight stroller that’s tailored for heavy use. It’s light enough for daily errands and compact enough for car trunks, but it has plenty of comfort and tons of room for a growing child, and it’s great for tall parents. Let’s review the features:

  • One kid, one stroller: If you have a Britax baby car seat, you can use the B-Agile Stroller from birth until your child weighs 55 pounds – the entire duration of your child’s stroller use. The Britax B-Agile comes with car seat adapters that form a click-and-go baby travel system with your Britax B-Safe or Britax Chaperone infant car seat. When your baby is a little older, the B-Agile stroller seat has a near-flat recline for napping; you can recline it with one hand. And because the seat is absolutely enormous (14” wide with a 20” seat back), older kids fit comfortably too. So the B-Agile may well be the only stroller you need!
  • Light weight, heavy function: The B-Agile stroller only weighs 16.5 pounds, putting it squarely in the lightweight-plus stroller category, and it has a wonderfully compact fold that’s great for small car trunks. But it doesn’t skimp on comfort: all-wheel suspension and large rear wheels (9.5 inches) give your child a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked in place for bumpier terrain – the B-Agile does fine on grass and playground mulch. And when the front wheel is swiveling, the B-Agile has a terrifically agile turn and can be pushed with one hand, even with a heavy kid on board.
  • Safety and stability: Britax knows safety! The B-Agile Stroller has a three-wheeled design with the seat balanced towards the rear wheels for excellent stability. The five-point harness is incredibly simple to adjust, with no rethreading – just access it through a zipper in back. And the buckle is impossible for older kids to undo. We know because we watched them try.
  • A fold without folderol*: It couldn’t be easier to fold the Britax B-Agile Stroller. Just press a safety release button and pull up a strap in the seat, and it flops neatly in half and locks into place. You can fold your stroller one-handed, leaving your other hand free for the baby.
  • Long and lanky: Not only does the B-Agile baby stroller have plenty of room for babies and kids, but it has plenty of room for tall moms and dads to maneuver – the handlebar is designed for tall parents, and the bottom bar in the back of the stroller frame is curved upwards so you won’t kick it.
  • A canopy that can-do: The Britax B-Agile has an enormous full-coverage canopy with a mesh peek-a-boo window that fastens with Velcro. The peek-a-boo window is especially useful when the stroller is fully reclined – you can see your child while they nap, and they get plenty of air.

For storage on the go, the Britax B-Agile stroller has a roomy basket that you can access from the sides, and if you and your child need more room for your stuff, you can purchase a child tray with a cupholder, or a parent cupholder for you.

Whatever your sport may be, the Britax B-Agile Stroller has great all-around function and a minimum of fuss. Parents agree: it’s a winner.
