About the Britax Marathon ClickTight Convertible Car Seat

The average American driver logs about 13,500 miles a year, with men mostly driving more (16,500) and women mostly driving less (10,100)… except for moms. Mothers log thousands of extra miles shuttling kids to appointments with the pediatrician, to baby classes, to preschool, to elementary school, and so on, and so forth.

So for all those miles you’ll be putting in, you’ll want a car seat for your child that provides quality protection for the long haul: the Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat! Most importantly, the ClickTight series car seats are designed for the easiest possible installation with a seatbelt, in three easy steps:

  1. Open the front of the car seat;
  2. Thread the belt through the belt paths;
  3. Click the compartment closed. That’s it!

The result is a rock-solid installation every time, ensuring that your Britax car seat will provide optimal protection for your child on the go.

Along with ClickTight, the Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat includes the usual assortment of technologically advanced safety features you expect from Britax:

  • SafeCell Impact Protection: This integrated system of safety components works together to provide optimal protection, far beyond what is required by federal safety standards. The system includes an Impact Absorbing Base, Tether, and Harness, an Impact Stabilizing Steel Frame, and Complete Side Impact Protection.
  • SafeCell Complete SIP: This system surrounds your baby in a deep protective shell that absorbs crash forces and shields children from debris.
  • 7-position recline: This allows you to adjust the car seat’s recline perfectly to fit a wide range of vehicle seats, and for your child’s comfort.
  • Easy to adjust harness: The 12-position harness and 2-position buckle make it easy to adjust for the correct fit for comfort and safety.
  • And more: Plush foam padding in the cover, buckle pad, shoulder pads, and removable pillow; the EZ-Buckle System to keep buckles and straps out of the way while loading your child into her car seat; an easy-remove cover for easy cleaning; and more!

The Britax ClickTight Marathon Convertible Car Seat is certified for aircraft travel. Use it rear-facing with your baby from 5-40 pounds (children should ride rear-facing for as long as possible), forward-facing from 20-65 pounds.

Excellent Car Seat

Pros:

Easy install, Comfortable

Cons:

Strap Release is a little difficult.

Love this car seat. The install is easy and very secure, it is comfortable and fits in my vehicle well. I like the fact that it has indentions on the sides of the seat. This allows me to install the seat in the middle and not have to worry about reclining the passenger or driver seat back. My only issue with the seat is how you release the straps to get my child out. You have to stick your finger in a little hole to press a button to release the straps. Makes it a little challenge for people with larger fingers.

Overall great seat!!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
