Your baby wants to chew on everything: toys, stuffed animals, car keys, your pinky, Dad's knuckles, and his own little hands and feet. This is, of course, an absolutely normal and beneficial stage in sensory development - the best way for a baby to explore an item thoroughly is to get his little mouth around it. Plus, teething kids need things to chew on to soothe aching little gums. As long as that item isn't something he can choke on, it's fine – heck, a little dirt is good for the immune system, right? Singers gotta sing, dancers gotta dance, babies gotta chew.
Chewbeads provide a clever new way to indulge the infant urge: big chunky beads are a classic baby teething toy, and they also happen to be in fashion right now, so why not combine the two? The Chewbeads Jane Necklace has big 100% silicone beads (no nasty chemicals!), and hangs a generous 15" from your neck so there's plenty of slack for your baby to tug and munch on; it also gives distractible babies something interesting to gaze at while they nurse. A breakaway clasp adds an extra element of safety, and your Chewbeads are easy to wash with dish soap and water, or even in the dishwasher.
Satisfy your need for beads with a rainbow of Chewbeads colors – you can pair multiple Jane Necklaces for a varied look, or pair the Jane Necklace with Cornelia bracelets, also available from Magic Beans.
Teething infants love it, their mothers love it
I have been purchasing the teething beads whenever I am visiting someone with a teething child. The first time was for my grandson when he was six months old. We would wear the brightly colored beads and he loved grabbing for them and putting them in his mouth. It is really quite ingenious, albeit expensive.
Easy to Grip, Easy to Clean, Engaging, Durable, Colorful & Fun
Our son is teething like crazy and has zero interest in teething rings or other traditional teething aids; however, he LOVES the chew beads. At this point, he's more interested in shaking them around and chewing them rather than having me wear them, but they're still great for the second use as well. Highly recommend!
