Versatility is a wonderful thing. You get it with that black pashmina, the one that can be used as a scarf or a fancy throw to wear to the Symphony. You get it with your stand mixer at home that can both beat frothy egg whites and whip up pasta sheets. Duct tape, rubber bands, Swiss army knives... the list goes on. Why not get a stroller that is just as versatile? Well, it didn't always exist - until now.

The Baby Jogger City Select offers you a whopping 16 seating configurations to custom fit your family's needs. Whether you have one baby or two or want them facing in or out, there is a perfect setup you can use. It starts with a single stroller. You can use the bassinet for your newborn and graduate up to the toddler seat. Then the family starts growing again and soon enough, there is another baby. This is where the Baby Jogger City Select gets to be really fun.

Pick up the optional bassinet, second seat, or car seat adapter and you can start getting creative about the configuration. Do you want to keep a close eye on both kids? Have the seat and bassinet face you. Are you looking to let your toddler face out while your baby's car seat has her facing you? You can do that too. This is especially wonderful with twins. Are those siblings getting fussy? Turn the seats back to back, allowing both kids to see out. Whatever the situation, there is a perfect solution with the Baby Jogger City Select.

Folding up the stroller is just as easy as setting it up. Using the Quick-Fold technology, you can easily collapse your stroller for travel or storage. The secure latch keeps the stroller locked in formation, making it easy to take it from place to place. Besides the essential 5-point harnesses and multi-position reclining seats, there is a generously sized sun canopy with a handy peek-a-boo window and adjustable height. When Dad takes the stroller for a spin, he can even adjust the telescoping handlebar to fit him. Remember, twice the passengers, twice the snacks and toys. That's why the storage basket is huge.

Just be careful; The Baby Jogger City Select is so versatile and well-designed, your expectations for baby gear might be forever changed. Luckily, we stock many products that were created with the same goal in mind. Click here to learn more about our favorite versatile and value-packed products for your family.

Please note: The seat on the City Select stroller is recommended for children who are 6 months and up. To use this stroller with a newborn, we recommend purchasing the City Select bassinet and/or car seat adapter.

Great Do EVerything Stroller

We've had this stroller for a couple of months. We have the second seat kit (which we currently use when babysitting) & carseat adaptor as well as the base stroller. We also have the universal parent console and the rain cover for the storage basket.

This is a really versatile stroller, and we love it because it can be our only stroller, even through a second child. It folds easily and compactly. The wheels come off with the push off a button, and with the wheels off, it will fit in the boot of a MINI Cooper, along with the wheels and seat(s). (A McClaren Volo won't fit; it's too long.) I like that the two passengers can face each other, or not, and that the second child doesn't have to tucked away with almost no view as on, say, the Phil & Ted's strollers.

The wheels are big enough to deal with a moderate amount of rough terrain. The under basket is very generous, and accessible from front and back. The sun canopies are very generous, and the second seat is identical to the first, so they are interchangeable. Note that you do need the 2nd seat kit in order to use TWO carseat adaptors. It's really easy to switch from front facing to back facing. (I've been able to flip them around with an infant in them.)

The steering in solo mode is good, though as another reviewer mentioned, it gets more unwieldy with the second seat & child. It's definitely not a lightweight stroller, and it won't do a one hand fold the way the City Mini will, but overall, I really like it. I do wish they had some kind of bag or something to collect the little pieces (2nd seat adaptor, car seat adaptor) together in the storage basket.
Great idea! Not that great performance

I bought this stroller with high hopes. This is the 13th stroller I have purchased with the hopes it would work for my needs (don't worry, i return or craigslist others before buying a new one). I live in a major city and walk A LOT with my toddler and infant. I wanted a double where my infant can face me, when not in the ergo, and my toddler can face out. This stroller seems to be just what I was looking for. Here is my list of pro/cons:

Pros:
*Very sturdy
*great sunshade for both
*impressive ability to maneuver the seats into the configuration that I want
love the recline on both seats
*great understorage basket!
*comfy seats
*great harness system
*the hand break is AWESOME!
*pushing it is really easy-it is turning it that is difficult.

cons
*Not easy to turn with both kids in it
**Could not get it over a very small bump or lip of my driveway from the street-the main reason i am sending it back!
*the recline although great is really hard to do-explanation: if the upper seat is facing the caregiver and reclined for an infant you will have to sit that seat upright completely in order to recline the bottom seat. plus if the lower seat has the sunshade in its "highest" position it is even more cumbersome.
*The sunshade in it's lower position makes it really difficult for a 35" kid to sit in, and with it in it's higher position makes the recline for the forward facing seat really difficult.
*I am not crazy about the small hard plastic wheels that are usually found on cheaper strollers, on this $$$ stroller.

Overall, I think the idea of the stroller is much better than what you actually get. If you live in the suburbs where you have nice even streets or in a shopping mall this would be great. Or if you had the option of getting bigger wheels in the front, which you don't according to the rep at Baby Jogger.
LOVE IT!

I purchased this stroller 6 months ago and have been using it since, and LOVE IT. I love that you have the option to face your child, especially with an infant. Like all baby joggers its very easy to fold, but does take two hands. The stroller fits great through tight store isles and manouvers easily with one hand. The extra large shade is great for walking out doors. The roomy seat also lays completely flat for napping. The storage basket is huge and has held a large grocery order no problem. The best feature is that it converts to a double. We have already puchased a second seat for baby #2 that is on the way. I highly reccomend this stroller, the only negative is that it is heavy, but so are most durable strudy strollers especially doubles!

This stroller is very heavy, very long when folded, hard to turn with second seat on! I returned already after using it three times as a double. If using it as a single it is an ok stroller.
