At six months, your baby is experimenting with some fascinating new experiences: solid foods, sitting up and looking around, perhaps even beginning to crawl. These explorations require fuel, and baby can’t wait around all day! It’s time to switch to Fast Flow Nipples for your Comotomo baby bottles.
The Comotomo Fast Flow Nipple Two-Pack includes two Comotomo replacement baby bottle nipples, for babies ages 6 months and up. These bottle nipples have three holes, letting baby gulp down her meal and get back to playing. As with the other Comotomo baby bottle nipples, the Fast Flow nipples have two vents built into the nipple, helping your baby avoid ingesting air bubbles. And the bottle nipple locks tightly into the ring of a Comotomo bottle, for superior leakproofing.
Like Comotomo baby bottles, the Comotomo Fast Flow Nipples are easy to clean, and made with 100% medical grade silicone, containing no BPA or other toxins. They’re safe, comforting, soft, and easy to clean. Contains two replacement baby bottle nipples, for use with Comotomo bottles only; use for babies ages 6 months and up.
natural latch, doesn't collapse
a little pricey
The Como Tomo bottle is cool looking, and probably easier for baby to hold. It's also easy to wash. BUT, the big reason to get it is these nipples. They have the great natural latch shape, but have just the right amount of firm to not collapse when baby sucks. My little guy just takes breast milk and only takes and occasional bottle, and this one does the trick. He loves it and is able to switch back and forth easily. The fast flow became necessary around 7 months.
Never leaks, Baby Loves, Durable
Tough for daycare to heat up milk, odd shape
Love the como tomo bottles. I tried the $18 Dr Browns, not only were they a pain in the butt to clean, they would leak and you could only fill the bottle to a certain point. The Medela nipples were also leaky. Never had a problem here. My only negatives for the bottles are 2:
1.) It is almost impossible to heat up milk in the bottle itself because the rubber is so insulated and thick (which can also be a good thing because it stay warm for a bit in the cold)
2.) In addition to the milk bottles we always had to carry around these bottles, and they dont fit in most "bottle carriers". Then again the shape makes them resemble a boob even more. Overall my 8 month old has loved them from day 1. I'l deal with the extra steps (extra washing too) and carrying extra bottles 'cause the "boss" loves them!
