I gave this as a gift to my 12-year-old nephew who loves to explore how things work and what you can do with things. It was a big hit.
You can "charge" the silly putty with the magnet that's included and then the putty becomes magnetic itself. You can also use the magnet to "magically" pull the putty in different shapes/directions. Lots of fun for kids who like to fiddle around with things and explore what they can do with them. I feel like the rest of this line of basically fancy silly putty is a little overpriced, but the magnetic properties of this one, and the super-powerful magnet that's included, make it unique and therefore worth the high price.
