Erector Motorized 30 Model Set

We’re not sure what a “crazy machine” does (and those guesses are probably a bit off), but we know that you can build one with the Erector 30 Model Set from Schylling Toys. This Erector construction set is for kids who get the basic Erector building concept and want to build more sophisticated projects that move by themselves! The included 6-Volt motor powers various cars and other vehicles.

Like any Erector kit, the Erector 30 Model Set challenges kids to follow the instructions to build a wide variety of items, and then use the principles they learn to build their own wacky creations. Because Erector projects are complex and some kids may need a bit of help initially, this challenging building toy gives parents a great opportunity to play together and toss in some scientific learning, too: try learning together how a simple electric motor works!

Among the 30 models in the instruction guide are a helicopter, a quad, a crane, a speedboat, and the aforementioned crazy machine. The Schylling Toys Erector 30 Model Set includes 352 Erector set parts (girders, plates, nuts, bolts, and wheels, both plastic and metal), an Allen wrench, a multi-function box-end wrench, a cable command, a 6-Volt battery-operated motor, and illustrated instructions. Batteries not included; suggested for ages 8 and up.
