Ergo Baby Carrier
I don't work for Ergo, really!

I *LOVE* my Ergo--when I wear it out (which is often) and get asked about it, I always feel like I have to add a disclaimer--I don't work for Ergo, really! I just love the product.
I bought this after my son got too heavy for a different carrier we were using; the hip strap makes a huge difference in balancing the weight. He's over two, now, and close to 30lbs; we've been using it for 16 months and I use it almost daily. It was great for nursing when he was younger, even in public--the hood gave us a little privacy, an let him nurse & nap while I was at the store, walking, etc. He still naps in it in the store when he's tired.
I also find it very convenient for getting in and out of the car/house--I put him in the carrier, leaving my hands free for carrying bags, etc.
Well worth the money--I think this is the best product I've purchased as a new mom.

I really love the Ergo, and I use it just about every day. My daughter loves going on walks in it, and she'll often fall asleep in it and let me work at the computer while she naps right on me. She sleeps longer and wakes up happier when she's on me. It's a heavier weight fabric that other carriers, so that makes it a bit hot, and not as portable as a sling or something, but it's so comfortable to wear. And a little hint, you can actually wear a baby front facing in the ergo, at least when they're old enough to enjoy it and small enough to fit that way.

We have tried every type of carrier and sling and this is the best ever! We have been using the Ergo for over 5 months now and just love it. We have taken our daughter (14 months) on the bus, T, plane and all over the city with the Ergo - it's worth every penny.
It's pretty lightweight, breathable and after a few tries easy to put on and take off, also very comfy for mom/dad and the baby. Another bonus is this can be used for a newborn up to 40lbs!

I borrowed one from my cousin before we went to NYC one weekend. I loved it so much I bought one as soon as we got home. Normally I'm a stroller girl, but since part of our trip was to get our Maclaren serviced I brought the Ergo along. It was so comfortable to wear, even my husband loved it. My son loved the he could see better too. We wore him both front and back. The only draw back is that when I wear him on my back it feels like my pants are being pushed down but I hear that's true of all carriers this style. Oh and it's kind of bulky to just keep in your diaper bag for those :just in case: occasions.

My baby loves this carrier because she can look around. We used it daily for walks when I was home on maternity leave. She would look around for the first 20 minutes or so and then would curl up against my chest and take a nap.
I like it because I don't worry about all the pressure being on her pelvis or hips (like the bjorn), it is comfy and easy to put on (well the front carrier is, I haven't tried the back carry yet), it is versatile (back and front carries)and it is compact (easy to throw in the car or attach to the diaper bag). I did notice that it got pretty toasty in the Ergo on warm days.

We tried the Bjorn, and felt like it was too uncomfortable. Then, we came across the Ergo and we're in LOVE! Our daughter gets sooo excited when she sees it she starts to shake and clap. I love all the accessories too. It really is one of our best baby products. Can't say enough about it.

Love the Ergo! We used it when my son was only a few weeks old. He was so comfy he fell fast asleep. Great for long walks or for trips to the supermarket. Easy to get baby in and out.

I have used almost all slings and carriers and i sold all of them after i tried this one. I have had 3 boys and am so sad it took me till my third to get it. My 9 mo. old weighs 25lb and i carrie him grocery shopping with me, to the park, or just outside to play with the boys and he just chills or will just fall asleep in it. Never gets wrestles or uncomfortable. In fact he loves being in it at the park, cooking dinner, or just trying to get him to sleep :)
As for me I have lots of back problems and this carrier by far is the best out there. I told my chiropractor about it and to refer it to his patients and he said he has had a lot of women tell him the same thing. It puts all the wight on your hips and takes it off of your back and shoulders. I even carried my 2 year old in it the other day for about 30 and it was amazing. I didn't feel it in my back at all!
It is at first kinda frustrating that it is so bulky but you get use to it like a diaper bag. I just put one of the straps through my shoulder and carrie it and my husband just rolls it up and cinches the straps up and makes it into a nice little ball to carry it.
For parent and baby i think this is the carrier that everyone should get!

When I was pregnant with my infant son, I was suckered into many different carriers and slings. I tried them all, spent far too much money- and THEN hit gold when I discovered the Ergo. This carrier works for me, my husband, and will for at least one of my twins at a time. I'll be pusing the other two in the stroller.
It is lightweight, breathable, oh so easy to put on and off, and comfy for mom, dad and babe. You can wear it on the side, front, or the back. I never had a problem- or worried about the security of my son with this carrier. There are also many accessories availible if you so choose.
I gotta say, resale on these numbers isn't too bad either! I plan on using this through three kids- and know it will be able to handle whatver I sling at it. WELL worth the money!!!

The ergo is awesome. It's a great front or back carrier. Our daughter is super comfortable in it, and, even better, so are we. My partner and I are different sizes, though, so I sort of wish we had two so that we wouldn't have to adjust it everytime we where it after the other person. But we're not made of money, so we'll deal with having only one! The only downside is that the baby can't face forward while you're carrying her on the front. I would still highly recommend this carrier.
