Comfortable For the parent, the Ergo carrier uses a sturdy waist strap to evenly distribute the weight of the child across the wearer’s hips, rather than the shoulders. The straps offer a wide range of adjustment so they’ll fit any body type. There’s good padding on the shoulders, too. For the child, the Ergo is supportive and the material is soft. There’s a hood to support the head during naps.
Versatile The Ergo carrier can be worn in three different positions: On the front, on the back and on the hip. The optional infant insert adapts the front-wearing position to accommodate a newborn.
Long-lasting The Ergo carrier is a great investment. It can be used from birth (with the optional infant insert) through toddlerhood. The recommended weight limit is 40 pounds, but that is more for the benefit of the wearer, since the carrier has been tested up to 90 pounds. So basically, you can start using the Ergo carrier the day you get home from the hospital and use it every day until your child is too old to be carried around.
