about the Joovy Caboose Ultralight

You have one feisty three year old who, in preparation for a new sibling, has decided to abandon all reliance on you and become independent. And while you don't want to squash her newfound autonomy, it has put a serious damper on your ability to travel anywhere efficiently. With a newborn in tow, you can no longer carry your very tired toddler at the end of a long day, or hold her hand every time she gets too close to the street; and yet she absolutely, will not, cannot, ride in a stroller.

Here’s where the Joovy Caboose Ultralight steps in. Not only is it lightweight (and you seem to be doing a lot of lifting these days) it's an unbelievably versatile sit-and stand style stroller. When toting an infant car seat, the car seat clicks into the front of the stroller on the universal adapter, facing you. The choice is then left up to your toddler whether she prefers to sit in the rear seat, or stand on the accompanying platform. The seat adjusts by sliding inward or outward, depending on whether your child is sitting or standing, and there's a three-point harness for when she does decide to rest those weary legs. When your infant reaches the four-month mark, he can start sitting up front in the seat without a car seat.

The Joovy Caboose is easy to fold, and quite compact for a tandem stroller. Once it's folded, it can be dragged behind you on two of its wheels like luggage, adding to the convenience of traveling with this stroller. The Joovy also earns major bragging points for its full sun canopy, which has an extra front flap to ward off the sun at any angle.

Please note: The Caboose Ultralight in red is a special edition model, which includes a black powder-coated frame, and a reversible "all season" seat pad.
