about the Kid Galaxy RC Demolition Derby Set

Nobody knows who came up with the idea for demolition derbies, but since the ‘50s, audiences all over the world have enjoyed watching cars destroy each other. The best derby cars are from the ‘60s and ‘70s, when cars had huge, heavy iron frames, and the most feared of all is the Chrysler Imperial, especially the 1964-66 model. According to an aficionado quoted in a New York Times article, “It’s got a solid chassis that just don’t bend.”

If you can’t get an Imperial, try the next best thing: the sturdy little vehicles in the Kid Galaxy Demolition Derby set can be put back together after they crash! These two little remote controlled warriors are made to come apart when they hit each other, or other objects, for hours of smashing, crashing fun. The hood, trunk, and doors on the remote control cars eject when they’re hit, and are easy to put back on to start over again. 4 cones and 2 ramps are also included, so kids can set up obstacle courses and realistic play scenarios.

The Kid Galaxy Demolition Derby set comes with two cars, two remotes, and accessories; each car requires 2 AAA batteries, and each remote requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). For ages 6 and up.
