we LOVE the snuzzler. I've seen so many babies slouching in their carseats with their necks and bodies askew that it makes me incredibly grateful that we have the Snuzzler.
Our carseat came with an infant/newborn headrest so we didn't need to use it for a carseat--instead we used it with our stroller and our running stroller. It made me feel so much more confident pushing our baby down the bumpy sidewalks and over roots and curbs (yikes!). Knowing that her head was properly aligned and would stay that way was just a huge relief. We can't say enough good things about it! LOVE! Snuzzler

We used the Snuzzler as an alternative to the head bumper that came with our car seat (orbit baby). It is made out of light weight terry cloth so even though it was the height of summer in Boston, we could still use it without him getting too hot. The design makes it super simple to thread in and out of the car seat straps. You don't have to unhook anything, it just slips in and is easy to adjust.
I tossed it into the washer and hung to dry and it seemed to hold up OK. The Velcro did get a bit stuck to itself and created a lump so I took one "bean" away for that. When our son outgrew it in the car seat, we switched it over to the stroller (orbit baby toddler stroller G1) as he was still technically too small. It supported him well and we were very pleased that we could use the stroller without him slumping over. Please note that most car seat manufacturers and safety experts sometimes recommend against using any sort of third party type inserts (blankets/pillows, etc.). However, there doesn't seem to be a general consensus and our son's head was better supported with it than without and it didn't interfere with safely strapping him into his seat.
