about the SwaddleMe Cotton Receiving BlanketWhen it comes to your baby’s snooze sessions, you’ve become a master of the blanket wrapping arts. Because loose blankets can be a hazard to newborns, you are right to be obsessive about keeping the crib a safe place. This means a lot of tucking and wrapping followed by some fretting and constant check-ups throughout the night.
Put those worries to rest. Pick up a Swaddleme Cotton Receiving Blanket. This award-winning blanket swaddles babies snuggly to keep them comfortable and safe throughout the night. The easy “wings” and re-adjustable tabs make it a cinch to wrap your baby. Using inspiration from mom’s own womb, the tight fit soothes infants. Swaddleme Receiving Blankets also reduce the occurrence of the startle reflex which allows babies to sleep longer.
This Swaddleme is made of 100% cotton and is perfect for all-seasons with its breathable and warm material.
A percentage of the sales of the SwaddleMe is donated to support the FIRST CANDLE/SIDS Alliance to help babies survive and thrive

Our baby didn't like to be swaddled...

The swaddle wraps were not useful for us, as our baby did not enjoy being swaddled, and particularly disliked having her arms wrapped up. Our baby is also on the larger side, and outgrew these wraps by about 8 weeks. I did try washing them, before passing on to someone else, and they didn't seem to hold up well to being machine washed. (Shrinking/fading.)

This product keeps baby's arm snug and tight, but baby can still kick his legs. As a newborn, my son needed his legs tucked snugly into his belly in order to sleep, so this wasn't very useful for us. We just used a receiving blanket to swaddle the old-fashioned way. It's not that hard.

My little man loved being swaddled but I was so nervous to put him to bed in a swaddle blanket for fear he'd get caught up in it. The Velcro keeps babies swaddled nice and tight and keeps the blanket in place. It's so easy to put them in and take them out for diaper changes. We even bought larger ones when he outgrew the newborn ones because he wanted to be swaddled until he was about 7 mo. old. I loved this blanket so much that I buy a SwaddleMe for all of my friends for shower gifts, even if they don't ask for them!

This is a lifesaver for new parents. It is very easy to learn how to use it-- you can't pull it too tight. Keeps baby warm and sleeping comfortably.

Our daughter needed to be swaddled to sleep through the night and my husband and I had only fair skills at getting a swaddle that would stay secure. When we discovered these it led to many longer nights of sleep. The only downside is the velcro wore out after the many washes needed ina month or two and made it easier for her to "bust out". Still a great investment but not the strongest hold after some use.
