Get out and about with the Maclaren Quest Stroller. This lightweight, durable stroller gives you great versatility, whether you are talking walks around town or vacationing with it. It’s one of our most popular lightweight strollers.
The Maclaren Quest has circular, pivoting hinges that eliminate the risk of pinched fingers during folding and unfolding. This new hinge design has been in the works for several years and represents a new approach to folding mechanisms in umbrella strollers. Though the frame is the same as older Maclaren models, there are slight changes in dimensions so older seat fabrics won't fit the new strollers.
It’s perfect for traveling because it holds up to 55 pounds and weighs only 12. You can fold it easily and compactly, making it the ideal set of wheels for those planes, trains, and automobiles. We love that there is a sturdy, rubber carry handle for easy toting – and even a shoulder strap that lets you carry the Quest hands-free over your shoulder when folded
Despite its lightweight and compact design, the Quest Next Generation is plenty comfortable for little kids. Compared to the Maclaren Triumph, this model has an impressive 4-position recline, allowing even a 3-month-old to nap peacefully. You also have some flexibility with the stroller’s set up; the generous padding and extendable leg rests allow you to adjust it to the perfect position for your child.
What about you? Well, there are also some great features for parents. The sun canopy features a UV-treated window so that you can keep a watchful eye on your child. There are also padded foam handlebars and a sturdy frame to make the Quest stroller a pleasure to push and a storage basket for stashing those essentials. We also love the clean, fresh colors available for the Maclaren Quest – don’t you?
Comfortable, Easily Stowed, Lightweight, Sturdy, Durable
We use this stroller on a daily basis. Being the mother of 4, I have had my share of experiences with strollers. This stroller is lightweight and compact. My ten year old can pack it in the car for me. Its easy to handle with one hand (while you hold the baby in the other). My son (4 months) sleeps well in it, the straps are all adjustable. We have received various comments from family and friends on how well the stroller handles and how stylish it looks (we have the black and gold color). We love it because its practical!
Easy To Steer, Easy to Set Up, Sturdy, Lightweight, Comfortable
I have a 10month old and currently live in NYC. I have a larger, heavier travel system stroller that I had been using since my son was born but I wanted a lighter, smaller stroller that would enable me to take the subway without having an entourage with me or even to pack in the car for weekend trips without taking up the whole trunk. I of course, didn't want to sacrifice comfort for my son or durability. I have to say, the Maclaren Quest definitely satisfied my need for it all! I actually now prefer to use this stroller even during every day use as it is just so lightweight and easy. My son loves it too. A little too much, as the 1st two times I used it, he fell asleep in it. Love that this umbrella stroller reclines just for that purpose too!
It is so easy to maneuver, even one-handed and for such little tires, it handles the NYC sidewalks quite well. Handles are really comfortable too! Height is great for both me (5'3") and my husband (6'0"). Folds and unfolds easily with a convenient carry strap or handle.
Basket is def. smaller than my other stroller but in such a small, lightweight stroller, I'm just happy that it has some storage.
My biggest complaint is that it doesn't stand when folded but guess u can't have it all.
Overall, I can't imagine another umbrella stroller offering all that this one does, and I did quite a bit of research before dishing out the dough for this stroller.
A great buy! Worth spending the money!
