Mindware Skippity

Don't skip this game! Skippity by Mindware is a rainbow-hued variation on checkers, with a few important distinctions that make playing Skippity just a touch more complex, and a little more challenging.

Skippity can be played by up to four players, and has "skippers" in five different colors. Players can use a piece in any color to capture other pieces by jumping over them. Two things determine your success: 1) how many "skippers" can you capture in one move, using double-jumps, triple-jumps, and so on? And 2) at the end of the game, how many "sets" of skippers do you have? A "set" is a set of all five colors – so the objective isn't to capture, say, the most yellow skippers, but rather, to capture the most even variety of colors. Got it?

Skippity is easy to play, but difficult to win, because getting skippers in all five colors takes some strategy. It's suitable for a broad range of ages, and an excellent way to add some color to a rainy afternoon. For 2-4 players, ages 5 and up.
