Besides the impressively high weight limit, though, this booster seat offers incredible protection for your passenger. The deep SIP (side impact protection) wings feature EPS foam, a material that absorbs a lot of impact – so your child doesn’t have to. Because a comfortable seat keeps kids sitting properly, this booster uses AirTek™ foam to make the seat ventilated and a pleasure to sit in. The seat bottom has extra length for leg support and features tapered sides for total comfort.
The Monterey Booster by Sunshine Kids has several adjustable features. One of our favorite aspects is the adjustable headrest. For one, it can be done with one hand – an especially helpful detail considering the number of things parents juggle at one time. The headrest has 11 positions up to 6.5” in height, making it easy to keep up with your child’s growth spurts. What’s more, the Monterey Booster seat is even width adjustable. There is a dial that adjusts the width of the expandable seatback to fit a child’s shoulders up to 20” wide.
The Monterey is also versatile. It provides you with the option to install it with the integrated LATCH connectors to make it more secure. There is even an adjustment mechanism at the front that allows you to quickly and easily install the booster tightly. Simply attach the lower anchor tethers to your vehicle's lower anchor attachment points and give a quick tug on the front adjuster to tighten.
