about the Mountain Buggy SwiftNow that you are in the market for a stroller, you'll find that friends have strong opinions on the matter. Whether it is the smooth maneuvering, quick fold, or generous canopy, it's only natural that parents will gravitate to a particular set of wheels – and many times it is the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle. This is an ever-popular model that offers all-terrain ruggedness and supreme comfort. But if you live on the 3rd floor of an apartment or rely on taking the subway around, you might opt for a smaller stroller.
Well, you are in for a surprise. You can have your Mountain Buggy stroller and still have portability too. Let us introduce the Mountain Buggy Swift. This is an awesome option for parents who want the best of both worlds. It's essentially a mini Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle. We were excited when we first laid eyes on it, and think you'll love it as much as we do.
Like the Urban Jungle stroller, the Swift features a swiveling front wheel for great maneuverability. This makes the Swift especially useful in grocery stores, outdoor markets, and any other time you need to make quick turns. The Swift also has a lightweight aluminum frame, providing you with the ultimate mix of durability and portability. This easy-to-fold design makes it stress-free to store the Swift in trunks, closets, and luggage carriers.
In the tradition of the Urban Jungle stroller, Mountain Buggy has also used high-quality, pneumatic tires for the Swift, making them a more petite 10 inches to be extra compact and still capable of handling varied terrain. Combine this with a fully reclining seat and a narrower frame, and you have yourself a dream stroller.
The Swift also has a full range of optional accessories available: a carrycot, storm cover, sun cover, and travel bag.

Honestly, the one thing that really sold this stroller for us was how low the adjustable handle can be set for a short parent (under 5' tall). Many other comparable strollers just don't go low enough. But it's also a great stroller for urban dwelling-- air-filled tires for bumpy sidewalks, small size and great turning radius for easy maneuvering in stores/on subway. One thing I don't love is that the seat recline is managed with straps so it's not super-easy to recline both sides evenly. That said, you can choose exactly how much you want to recline which can be nice... One other thing that would be nice would be a better clip to hold the stroller in its folded position-- it's a little tricky to carry folded because it will open on it's own and there is a strap which I guess is meant to serve that function but it's not easy to use.

i have 4 strollers, and the swift is my favorite for long walks, grocery runs, and inclement weather. i've taken it out during blizzards, and it handles beautifully. because it reclines nearly flat, we love using it for diaper changes. the slightly smaller dimensions (compared to other 3-wheelers) means that it maneuvers in tight spaces without a problem.

We selected this stroller for its light weight, ease of use (it just opens and unfolds for use so easily), all-terrain features. It is great in urban settings as well as on paths through the woods. It also lets you fully recline the seat so your infant can enjoy it as well as your toddler.

This stroller is the 3rd different one we have bought in 3 years and we finally found a winner! We bought it for our 3 year old because he still enjoys riding while we take walks and we are planning on having more children. This stroller is not the lightest on the market by any means but it folds up flat, you can open it with one hand (and a foot), and you can steer one handed. The swift provides a comfortable less bumpy ride for my son and it navigates around pot holes, curbs, and any obstacle in a clothing store. The sun shade is a good size and has an extra mesh piece that pulls our for extra sunny days. The bottom storage area is a lot larger then I initially thought and I can easily fit a few bags when I go shopping or my large diaper bag. I also LOVE the bassinet accessory and hope to use it soon! I highly recommend this stroller!
