Versatility is the name of the game. When you have a new baby, you’ll want a stroller that is just as comfortable on bumpy terrain as it is on city sidewalks. When it comes to a multi-tasking stroller, we love the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle.
The Urban Jungle is the updated version of the popular Mountain Buggy Urban Single. Just like the previous version, the Urban Jungle offers you great longevity as you can use it with a newborn all the way up to a 5-year old. Until your child weighs 77 pounds, this stroller will be the trusted, primary method of transportation when you are on foot.
Once your child is all strapped in the 5-point harness, the adventure is all up to you. If you are looking for an urban stroller for coffee trips, window shopping, and grocery runs, the streamlined design will make it a breeze. Looking to take a power walk along the neighborhood lake? Don’t let rough ground stop you. The Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle has 12” tires and rear-wheel suspension to make the ride smooth. Are you a road runner? You can use the Mountain Buggy for moderate running, about 3-5 miles at a stretch.
The stroller is built for heavy use with a solid frame made from anodized aluminum. Not only does this resist scratching, but is durable yet lightweight enough to be easily transported. Also, despite the sleek design, this stroller does offer you some valuable storage space. The generous under seat basket it’s great for carrying some groceries, toys, or a diaper bag. Combine the frame, storage basket, and the adjustable handlebar and you have a very versatile product.
When your child starts getting sleepy, the seat reclines nearly flat using a simple but effective strap-based recline system. For newborns, buy the Urban Jungle Carrycot (bassinet) accessory so she can comfortably lie flat. You can also use the carrycot as an additional place for your baby to sleep in your house, or when traveling to a hotel or a relative’s house.
Take your Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle stroller to go. When you want to travel with your Mountain Buggy, you’ll find that it easily folds flat. You can put it at the bottom of your trunk, and still have room to put luggage on top. It also stands upright for storage in your house or apartment.
Make it a double. If you have 2 kids spaced about 3 years apart, a Buggy Board attaches nicely to the rear of the stroller. This stroller is travel system compatible so you can directly attach your infant car seat to the frame with the use of adapters. If you have twins or two kids who are close in age, be sure to check out the Mountain Buggy Urban Duo stroller.

Durable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Easy to Set Up, Easy To Steer, Sturdy
This is a great stroller that works for an infant three months and older. You can push this stroller with one hand over any terrain. It is a little heavy but its versitility make up for that.
Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Steer, Sturdy, Easily Stowed, Easy to Set Up
I bought the Mountain Buggy because I wanted an all-terrain stroller that could be stowed easily. The Mountain Buggy is a little heavy and bulky, however, it stands on its own and if you take the wheels off, it lays really flat in your trunk. What is also nice is that the seat can be fully reclined so my infant son (now 2 months old) could ride in it without a car seat adapter. That said, he likes looking around at things and now that we can incline it since his head control is now pretty strong, he is enjoying it much more. Very easy to steer. My husband was hesitant at first because it was a big purchase but he likes using it as much as me.
