About the Munchkin Mozart Magic CubeThe ingenious and interactive Mozart Magic Cube by Munchkin is a sophisticated tool for music education – and is endlessly fascinating for little ones. It allows them to be amateur classical composers before they can even talk.
Toddlers can choose from any combination of five instruments, harp, flute, French horn, piano, and violin, to collaborate on eight Mozart tunes. The orchestra button plays all of the instruments together. By simply pressing the buttons, your baby can add or subtract an instrument from the song without missing a beat. In addition to the various instrumentals, lights flash to the tempo of the music. The soft, rounded corners make the cube safe and easy to play with.
The Mozart compositions include: Non Piu Andrai (Marriage of Figaro), Country Dance #5, K.609, Come Sweet May, K.596, Ah! Vous Dirai-je, Maman, K.265 (Twinkle, Twinkle), Der Vogelfanger (Magic Flute), March in D, K.606, LaCi Darem La Mano (Don Giovanni).

5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Great musicJune 8th, 2010 Pros: Durable, Great Features, Entertaining I was skeptical when we were gifted this for our baby daughter, but she *loved* it. As an infant she really enjoyed watching the lights and listening to the music and would reach out whenever it stopped. When she was old enough to push the buttons she'd turn it over and over pushing on the different instruments and rocking to the tunes. She learned quickly how to go from one song to the next. A year later, it continues to be one of her favorite music makers.
The music selection is great (mostly classical) and I love that there are enough so you're not listening to the same song over and over. There is an off switch, but no volume control. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review
