The Nook Pebble Mattress is also non-toxic, so there is no need to be concerned about chemicals or mattress off-gassing. Organic wool is used as a natural fire retardant. A patented nano-layer keeps the mattress water- and stain-resistant so it stays clean and fresh for the long term. The Nook Pebble is hypoallergenic, anti-microbial, and anti-fungal to help keep those microbes at bay.  The mattress cover is machine washable for easy cleaning.
