Founded by husband-and-wife team Sophie Demenge and Michael Ryan, Oeuf came to be after this French-American duo had their first child in 2002. As many parents of their generation, they didn’t want to compromise when it came to the nursery. From good looks to practicality to environmental-soundness, they created Oeuf to be exceptionally designed for busy parents.

Just like the contours of its namesake, Oeuf (which means “egg” in French, pronounced like the "uff" in stuff), is all about simple, clean design that’s made of the highest quality materials. Like European cribs, Oeuf features fixed side rails that eliminate the need for moveable parts and keeps your crib safe for years. The sides, footboard and headboard are all cut from single sheets of wood panel so you don’t need to worry about any loose joints.

With its beautiful construction and subtle color, the Sparrow Crib is the centerpiece of the Oeuf Sparrow Nursery. It is made in Europe out of solid birch, is easy to assemble, and is incredibly safe for your baby. A simple conversion kit is available to convert the crib into a toddler bed.
