If you are using the Orbit Infant Car Seat, you use the small footmuff and the large one for the Toddler Car Seat. i bought this item for my son when he was a month old, and used it for about 3 months. i do think it was overpriced for what it is, but since i have the orbit, i figured i should just get it. i was very happy with the material and the way it fit into the orbit like a second skin. it kept my son extremely warm, as there was no reason for him to have additional blankets or a jacket on.
i do agree with the other review though...i had to stop using it before the winter months were over because my son was so squished. he outgrew it quick and he had very limited arm space since day one. overall, when i could use the product, i was very happy with it. it did it's job 100%. great material, kept my son dry and warm and fit nicely with the orbit. it also washed great. i just wished i could have used it longer! This product is wonderful. I love everything about it. Before we bought the Orbit we used a different car seat with the JJ Cole Bundle me. The Bundle Me is a great product but my little one overheated when we used it. We used this footmuff until our baby was 6 months old. We have a new baby on the way and unfortunately cannot use our Orbit - we need a car seat that is compatible with a double stroller - I am so upset that I wont be able to use this footmuff!

I was really surprised with how disappointed I was by the footmuff (small for the infant car seat). I love all of my Orbit Baby items and waited a long time for this to come out but this one needs some improvements when it comes to fit.
In the car seat, it does take up some space so if you are close to the weight limits as we were, forget it. You can unzip the bottom to give you some extra legroom which is GREAT on the stroller but makes it impossible to rotate the car seat into rear facing position without smooshing you kid. On the stroller, it is great. Water-proof, very warm and soft, made from organic and flame retardant fabric and a perfect compliment to the G2 seat. On the infant car seat, it just didn't work no matter what I did. And for such a high price, I really expected more. You may also like these items...
