Product Overview
When we first laid eyes on the Orbit System, we knew this was something special. The Orbit Infant System is the first phase of a complete solution for on-the-go parents.
The Orbit Infant System consists of three parts: the Infant Car Seat, Car Base, and Stroller designed to be Smart, Simple, and Secure.
The Orbit Car Base incorporates StrongArm technology that enables the car seat to be installed quickly and easily, with little margin for error. The Orbit Infant Car Seat docks onto the Base with the SmartHub. The circular SmartHub interface allows the Infant Car seat to easily snap onto the Base, from any angle or direction, without having to line up the grooves, belts, or notches. The Infant Car Seat can then be rotated and locked into the correct rear-facing travel position. It's amazingly easy, no matter what kind of car you drive.
The Orbit Stroller is also fitted with the same circular SmartHub dock. This allows parents to easily and quickly pop the Infant Car Seat out of the Base and into the stroller. SmartHub rotation means that the seat can be rotated a full 360 degrees allowing the child to be rear, foward or even sideways facing (great for restaurants!). The stroller also sports an amazingly compact one-handed fold.
The three peices of the Orbit Infant System work together seamlessly. The system is completely modular, designed to work with future Orbit upgrades including a Toddler Car Seat and even a Stroller Seat, which creates a stand-alone stoller without the carseat.
