About the Phil & Teds Explorer Buggy

Is it stroller buying time? There are many factors to consider. Do you live in the quiet suburbs and have plenty of space for storage? Are you an urbanite who needs a stroller that can handle lots of walking? Whatever your situation, there are certain models that can make life easier. But no matter the case, we find ourselves recommending Phil & Ted's Inline™ buggies time and time again. And now there is the Phil & Teds Explorer, an improved version of the best-selling Phil & Teds Sport Buggy.

Like its predecessor, the Sport Buggy, the Phil & Teds Explorer Buggy is perfect if you have (or plan on having) kids within one to three years of each other. With the optional Phil & Teds Explorer Doubles Kit, it adapts to accommodate a newborn and a toddler, or two toddlers. We love how nimble this double stroller is, allowing you to easily maneuver around stores and doctor offices. Kids actually love the novelty of the Inline™ seating – making stroller rides even more pleasant. With the Explorer, this second seat features a large adjustable sunhood which is a great improvement over the previous model.

We love that the Phil & Teds Explorer can accommodate both a Doubles Kit and a car seat at once. This offers families unprecedented versatility and a total of 7 modes instead of the 6 modes available with the Sport Buggy. Besides the second seat feature, the Explorer boasts many improved features you'll love.

Instead of the two-handed fold on the Sport, this new stroller has a great one-handed fold that makes traveling and storing it much easier. When it comes to comfort, the Explorer also scores high points. This new construction features contoured and ventilated plastic seats that provide ergonomic support as well as keep your child feeling dry and cool, even on warmer days. Check out the seat liners as well – you can pick out your favorite color and count on the fabric set to keep your child cozy and padded in the stroller.
