Traveller Travel Cot by Phil and Teds

Where to start? We were so excited to get this Traveller because it was lightweight and so portable--two things we needed because of our extensive travel.

It was obviously harder to set up than a pack 'n' play (which, we've now found is incredibly easy!) but once you set up the Traveller two or three times, it was a breeze. (It takes about 5 minutes, maybe less).

Stuffing everything back inside the bag is a learned art but once you've done that two or three times, too, you'll be a pro.

I did not like the mattress at all. There really was no way you could put a sheet protector on it (though they might sell one now that fits it) which means your child is exposed to the not-so-soft mattress material and i can't even begin to think about how i'd clean that!

After using it about 5 times, the seam ripped all the way down on one side.

We were shocked! We contacted Phil and Teds and they immediately sent us a new one.

We used the new one ONCE. Just ONCE. Same thing happened.

Needless to say, we immediately switched to a Pack 'N' Play. Not as cool, not as lightweight, but loads more durable and trustworthy.

What a disappointment.
