Poof Slinky Sirius 360 Telescope + Tripod

About the Sirius 360 Telescope + Tripod

The moon is an obvious source of fascination and mythology (it's big! it's bright! it changes daily!). The Romans believed that the moon could make people insane (thus the word "lunatic"), and both Asian and Native American cultures have a variety of myths about a rabbit living on the moon. Even with modern scientific knowledge, a lot of inaccurate myths persist.

The moon is just one of the fascinating vistas your child can explore with the Poof-Slinky Sirius 360 Telescope, a grown-up quality scientific tool made just for kids! The most powerful lens included with this kid telescope magnifies distant objects up to 180 times closer than the naked eye, allowing kids to check out the moon and the stars from their bedroom window, observe animals at a distance, and more. Getting kids a telescope is a great way to get them excited to learn about science - not just astronomy and biology, but also how their telescope works!

The Sirius 360 Telescope features:

  • An altitude lock knob to help keep your place in the sky;
  • An easy-to-use focus knob;
  • A 90mm lens refractor, a 2x erecting eyepiece, a 20mm eyepiece, and a 4mm eyepiece, so kids can try out a variety of distances;
  • An aluminum tripod to keep the telescope steady;
  • Durable construction and strong materials, so it won't disappoint your little scientist by giving out before they're done exploring!

For best results, we suggest using the Poof-Slinky Sirius 360 Telescope as far as possible from city lights, which will muddy up the view of the sky. Suggested for ages 8 and up.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
