About the Skip Hop Duo Double Diaper BagSkip Hop bags have been a smash hit practically from the moment they hit the shelves. The Duo, the Dash, and the Expo were Skip Hop’s first designs, each unique and distinct, but always practical, stylish, and so easy to clip onto the back of a stroller. Parents loved them, but when it came time to attach your Skip Hop to the back of a side-by-side double stroller, that situation brought with it a bit of a challenge. In order to fill this need, the ever-innovative folks at Skip Hop designed the Duo Double, which has now been upgraded to include a number of valuable features.
The Skip Hop Duo Double Deluxe is designed for people who routinely push a side-by-side double stroller, so it’s extra wide. Its tote-style handles, messenger strap, and stroller attachment straps allow the bag to be used conveniently in a variety of ways. On the outside of the bag, there are pockets galore, and Skip Hop has introduced some nifty magnetic closures in place of the usual Velcro.
The interior of the bag seals with a zipper, and also incorporates an oversized zippered pocket designed for carrying a wallet, keys, or other small items. There’s a key ring, phone pocket, places to stow pens and pencils, and some mesh pockets that are perfect for diapers, toys, and other items you need to find quickly. In fact, according to Skip Hop, the Duo Double boasts no fewer than 15 pockets. It’s a roomy bag, but not so big that it’s bulky or unwieldy when it’s being used off the stroller. For all the parents who tote around too much stuff for a traditional Skip Hop bag, the Duo Double is an excellent alternative.

5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Great bag for parents of multiplesJuly 2nd, 2010 Pros: Easy Use, Stylish, Lots of Pockets and Features, Strong Construction, Comfortable This is a nice big bag that balances nicely on a stroller, thanks to it's built in clips. I have twins + a preschooler and it's big enough to hold all our junk. We've also used it as a carry-on bag for trips and it's perfect. I can't tell you how many of us in my multiples club own and love this bag, especially when the babies are newborns and you need to carry everything except the kitchen sink! ha ha!! 4.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Does the JobJune 2nd, 2010 Pros: Lots of Pockets and Features, Strong Construction, Easy Use It may not be the fanciest diaper bag in the world, but it does the job. It's lasted us over three years now - we still use it to carry snacks, water, and spare clothes (and my wallet etc.) when we're out with the stroller. I absolutely LOVE the phone sleeve and pen holders...never would have thought to include those in a diaper bag, but they are so nice to have.
The biggest drawback is that the bag is too unwieldy to regularly convert to a shoulder bag. Yes, you can pop it off of the stroller to carry with you to a restaurant table or something....but I would not plan on lugging it around all day at a museum that requires you to leave your stroller at coat check (for example). Of course, the bags that convert to backpacks are not usually big enough to hold stuff for two babies, nor do they easily hang on a side-by-side. If your stroller goes almost everywhere with you, this is probably a good choice. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review
