Some babies are better suited for their first experiences with snow than others. If your baby didn’t come equipped with fuzzy paws, though, it’s not hard to keep her little fingers warm: SnowStoppers Mittens will get the job done!
SnowStoppers Infant Mittens don’t have thumbs, since your baby doesn’t really need them, making them easier to put on. The long cuffs do a superb job at keeping snow from getting between your child’s coat and her mittens; just put the mittens on before the coat, and her arms are nicely sealed off! The outer layer of each mitten is waterproof nylon, which does a great job at resisting snow, ice, and water, and Thinsulate 40 Gram Insulation adds warmth without adding a ton of bulk.
Reviewers report that SnowStoppers Mittens really work, and they do a superb job at keeping little hands warm, especially since they don’t fall off and small children won’t be able to yank them off, either! This also means that they’re less likely to get lost, so hopefully they’ll spend most of the winter on your child’s hands instead of lost on a sidewalk or in the playground.
The SnowStoppers Infant Mittens are made with nylon, acrylic, polyester, and Olefin; hand-wash with warm water, and lay flat to dry. Also available in sizes for older kids! (And don’t forget: the Xtra Small infant ones haven’t got a thumb.)
