No childhood is complete without the experience of stomping through snowdrifts, sledding down neighborhood slopes, packing snowballs, building snow-people (or snow-critters), and coming back in for a big mug of hot cocoa! Make sure your kids are equipped for a whole season of snowy fun with SnowStoppers Mittens: they don’t come off!
The cleverly designed SnowStoppers have extra-long sleeves attached, which keep snow from getting under the cuff of the mitten and slipping inside your child’s coat. The sleeves also keep the mittens tightly in place, so they won’t disappear into a snowdrift, never to be seen again.
SnowStopper Mittens are also supremely warm and waterproof, with a water-resistant outer nylon shell and waterproof DryPel lining. Thinsulate insulation adds warmth without bulk, as well.
For best results, kids should put on their SnowStoppers Mittens before their coat, so the extra-long SnowStopper cuff keeps the snow out properly. SnowStoppers Mittens are made with nylon, acrylic, polyester, and Olefin insulation. See the menu above for sizing and colors!
keep hands DRY, keep kids happy!
could be warmer
These do the job, and are the best I've found for keeping snow out. My daughter loves them, they're her go to mittens for sure.
Stay On, Keep snow out
Seams could be a bit stronger
I originally purchased these mittens a few years ago for my then toddler because I needed mittens that would stay on his hands. As he grew, I tried out other mittens that were a bit cheaper and didn't have to go under his coat. What I found was that they were fine for play in cold, but as soon as snow was involved, the snow got in by the cuff and his hands were freezing. Now both my boys have these mittens and I wouldn't consider any other. Keeps the hands (and arms) warm and dry.
