The Baby Jogger City Micro stroller has arrived and is now in our stores and online. You can read my in-depth review from when I saw them at the ABC Kids Spring Conference in Kentucky. The most significant advantage of the City Micro is the price point. It’s a stripped down version of the City Mini, though it actually weighs more, not less, since they’re using a less expensive (and heavier) metal for the frame. It doesn’t recline as far and the canopy provides less coverage. But it takes all the same accessories as the City Mini and the rest of the City Series strollers, so if you’re investing in a larger Baby Jogger (like a City Elite) and you just want something small and inexpensive to keep in the car, the City Micro offers unparalleled economy. Also, the color palette for the City Micro is vibrant, and may be more appealing to some than the muted tones of the City Mini.
The City Micro is a great value at $159.99, but the City Mini, at $229.99 is undoubtedly worth the $70 upgrade. Just my $.02, but that’s what I’m here for, right? The City Micro is also available as a double stroller for $299.99.
