Buff, baby

I’m not ashamed to admit that I am a fan of “Survivor” (there are millions of us out there – just not anyone I know). If you’ve never seen it, all you need to know is this: contestants are given color-coded Buffs to identify which tribe they are on. I’d never heard of a Buff until I started watching Survivor, but many times I have marveled at the many ways it can be worn (though I suspect you shouldn’t try to stretch it around your torso unless you’ve been nearly starving to death on a remote island for at least a couple of weeks). One day, a sales representative dropped off some Buff samples in our store, and I was pretty psyched to discover that Buff is not a subsidiary of Survivor. It’s actually a big company based in Spain, and they even make winter-weather Buffs for babies.A Polar Baby Buff is a stretchy, long tube of fabric with a wide band of polar fleece on one end. It can be worn as a scarf, a hat (several configurations to choose from), a headband, or even like a ski mask (as shown here). We’ve got a great display in the store, complete with a head, or you can check out the Buff website at www.buff.es.

I got one in my size and I love it, for what it’s worth. It looks really cute on kids, but if you see me wearing mine and it looks dumb, please do tell me, but maybe break it to me gently.
