Have you ever wanted something really, really badly? When we first opened Magic Beans, all I wanted was to carry Bugaboo. For a number of reasons, we weren’t able to become an authorized dealer at that time, and the disappointment literally kept me up at night (or was it my newborn?). I had been an admirer of the brand since it first made its debut in the United States, and it hurt that I couldn’t sell a product I admired so much. It wasn’t until the end of 2007, when our two new stores opened that we finally became part of the Bugaboo family. It was a very good day, when those boxes arrived in our warehouse.

Since then, we’ve loved every minute of selling Bugaboo strollers and we’ve enjoyed creating a strong partnership between our two companies. The Cameleon is the top-of-the-line Bugaboo stroller, and I was lucky enough to borrow one while I was in Chicago this past weekend. It was, believe it or not, my first extended test-drive of the Cameleon. I was so impressed, as everyone is, by the smooth ride and the buoyant suspension. Bugaboo was responsible for igniting the high-end stroller market, and the Cameleon feels like the luxury product it is. It exudes quality, refinement and sophistication. Sort of like a Porche.
