We just got back from nearly 10 days in the Southwest, and ironically, I forgot to bring a sling. Like clockwork, my two-year-old refused to walk or sit in a stroller for the first three days we were away. In desperation, I contacted my friends at Hotslings and bought (by overnight delivery) a stunning, reversible sling that was an absolute lifesaver. It was comfortable to wear, and the stretch-cotton fabric was very breathable, even in the intense heat. It also got rave reviews from my husband and even my father, who had never used a sling before. I loved how clean and chic it looked, and many people stopped to ask me about it. I don’t know what I would have done without it.
The instructions that came in the packaging were very well done, with clear pictures and easy-to-follow directions. I also loved the design of the sling, which features a padded edge that lends extra support to the baby. In the hip-carry position, the padding went right under my daughter’s legs, which made for a very comfy ride.
Earlier this winter, I talked about the fleece pouches from Hotslings as a nice alternative to the Kangaroo Korner adjustable pouches. But as the weather warms up, I’m very excited to have their lightweight, cotton slings in the store. For sizing information, visit their website at www.hotslings.com. We have just received a large shipment of these, and we have plenty of slings in stock in a range of colors and sizes.
