Product update alert! New features on the Stokke Xplory Stroller

Stokke XploryStrollers come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, but none of them stands out in quite the same way as the quirky, ultra-modern Stokke Xplory. The unusual look of the Xplory is linked to a key feature, though: it boosts your baby up high, encouraging more interaction and bonding between you and your baby (and, as Sheri noted when using the Xplory with her son Zev, more interaction between your social child and friendly strangers!).

Along with using the Xplory stroller ourselves, we’ve been singing the praises of the Xplory from day one – we even toured the factory back in 2006! The Xplory was pretty great back then, and Stokke has kept adding improvements each year, so there really wasn’t much to change for 2014. Nevertheless, when parents ask for changes to make using their stroller easier, Stokke listens, and they’ve adjusted the fold and the attachment for the under-seat bag. Here’s Eli with a quick guide to the changes:

To summarize:

  1. The formerly fiddly switch that you used to fold the last version of the Xplory has been replaced with a simple, easier-to-use loop.
  2. The under-seat bag now attaches and detaches from the sides, instead of wrapping around the frame and possibly getting in the way of a nice quick fold.

Oh, and while we’re talking about the Xplory stroller: we found this great page that shows you how the Stokke Xplory fits in a variety of car trunks!

Want to x-plore the Xplory some more? Come to a Magic Beans store! Our stroller x-perts will show you the ins and outs of this fabulous stroller, and introduce you to the rest of our fantastic stroller selection.
