Day 26: Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light

There are never enough hours in the day, especially when your family is traveling. So many things to see, so many rides to go on, so many pictures to take! So you don’t want to waste time assembling the things you need, like, for instance, a travel crib.

Enter today’s giveaway, the Baby Bjorn Travel Crib Light, a Magic Beans customer favorite – and a Gurock family favorite, too. Just how quick is it to set up this crib? Sheri took a video on her first encounter with the Travel Crib, at a trade show in 2007. The video is 45 seconds long – and it includes both the setup AND the breakdown of the crib, as demonstrated by a Baby Bjorn rep. You simply pull it out of the included travel bag, and the crib pops open; stick in the mattress, and boom! You’ve got a perfectly safe and comfortable crib. The light, firm mattress has a machine-washable cover, and the whole shebang weighs a mere 11 pounds. It couldn’t be easier.

In honor of the fastest-to-assemble crib, we searched the internet for some of the fastest moms in the world. Here are a few ladies who haven’t let motherhood slow them down:

Fran Capo, fastest-talking mom!British Mom Paula Radcliffe won the NYC marathon ten months after her son was born.

Aleisha Cline, 2010 Olympic skier, called “the fastest mom on skis.”

And my favorite: Fran Capo (pictured, with her son Spencer), who holds a Guinness Record as the world’s fastest-talking woman. In this clip from the Discovery Channel, a scientist evaluates just how Fran does it – and we get to hear her reading the Gettysburg Address in 29 seconds!
