As with many retailers in the era of the internet, Magic Beans is a two-pronged business: you can access our full selection right here at mbeans.com, or you can visit our six brick-and-mortar stores in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Our first store, in Brookline, is probably the most familiar to Bostonians, since that bright green façade really stands out on Harvard Street, but you may not know that we have a store right smack in the center of Back Bay too, at the Prudential Mall!
In the video below, we treat you to a quick tour of Magic Beans Boston, right around the corner from the front entryway of the mall on Boylston Street. This location is equally convenient for locals and for visitors, a stone’s throw away from the gorgeous boutiques of Newbury Street – fashionable parents from Boston and abroad can buy a city stroller right where you’ll be strolling! (This is, by the way, the most natural possible environment for a Bugaboo Cameleon, and you’ll see plenty.)
Magic Beans Boston is our smallest shop, but that’s no disadvantage: it means that the selection is ultra-curated so that there’s an item to meet the needs of every customer shopping for toys and baby gear. All of the best specialty toy brands are represented, including Playmobil, Schleich, Magna-Tiles, and more, and the baby gear section features all of our favorites from Bugaboo, UPPAbaby, Stokke, Baby Jogger, and other popular brands.
And of course, our expert customer service team knows that selection inside-out, and they’re trained to carefully evaluate your needs to find exactly what you’re looking for. They’ll walk you through stroller test drives and baby carrier test drives, and if necessary, they’ll even take a car seat floor model out to your car to see how it fits. We go the extra mile to make sure you love your purchases – because parenting is stressful enough without dealing with baby gear that doesn’t work the way you need it to!
With all of that said: let’s take a lot at the store itself, shall we? This quick tour from Eli Gurock, Magic Beans co-owner, should tell you everything you need to know.
