Halloween is coming. Are you going to be using face paint to put the finishing touches on your child’s costume? Let us give you a hand with that. This Thursday, Oct. 28th, Magic Beans is hosting a pre-Halloween party for parents (we’re calling it Night of the Living Beans). We’ve invited Boston-based face painter Jill Reed, of Baja Face Painting, to come to our Brookline store from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. to do some demonstrations and lessons that will upgrade your skill set.
We first met Jill in July when she joined our Birthday Celebration. We loved her and her work was amazing too.
Now a pro at creating masterpieces on kids’ faces, Jill picked up her first Snazaroo face paint kit in 2007, and started playing around, honing her skills on her five kids.
Jill is continuously improving her painting techniques by attending workshops all over Massachusetts. Now she offers glitter tattoos and henna designs in additition to her beautiful facial masterpieces.
“Seeing the reaction of those I paint when they first see themselves in the mirror is the best part of my job,” she says.
Jill is available for private parties and corporate events. Visit her website for details.
