One of my favorite new make believe toys is the Fancy Flutterpack from Cranium and its space-themed sibling, the Turbo Rocketpack. Both of these are designed to be worn on a child’s back, and both have a push button that sits on the shoulder strap. Push it and wings pop out of the pack. Pull a cord and they retract. There are other features, like click-in decorations and Cranium even threw in an activity guide. Nice thought, but I don’t think kids will need too much guidance here. There aren’t too many bells and whistles, and I’m fairly certain it doesn’t use batteries – this is just a great prop that will rev up little imaginations for hours of pretend play.
