While I am not personally a fan of spiders, this new remote-control tarantula is pretty outstanding. We spotted this fuzzy arachnoid at a small shop in Woodstock, VT a few weeks ago, and I was so impressed I ordered them the very next day. All eight legs move in an incredibly realistic (and creepy) pattern, and the remote is simple enough that even very young kids will master it quickly. A perfect gift for your favorite prankster – this is sure to elicit some serious screams from unsuspecting bystanders. Be careful about surprising people, though. A quick-witted victim will stomp it, and that will be the end of that.
