• Parent harness: Equipped with an integrated hip belt that helps to properly distribute the baby’s weight, to keep you comfortable all day, the parent harness also is loaded with pockets for small items, and includes a removable aluminum back support, used for back-carrying.
•  Front carry: Carry your baby facing inwards from birth (7.7 pounds) in the Stokke MyCarrier, until he can hold his head up, at about 4 months. Facing inwards, the baby has the “Happy Hips” position, with a broad seat that supports his back, buttocks, and thighs. Once he’s ready, you can turn your baby around to face outwards and explore the wider world.
• Back carry: Once your baby can sit unaided and is taller than 28 inches, switch to the back-carry harness that comes with this baby carrier, and install the aluminum back-plate in the parent harness, so that both you and your child are comfortable and well-supported. Use up to 33 pounds.

 

Double-locking carabiners secure the child harnesses safely to the parent harness, and all of the fabrics on the Stokke MyCarrier baby carrier are soft, breathable organic cotton with no toxins.
