About the Stokke Xplory NewbornPlease note: We are only able to ship Stokke products to addresses within the United States or Canada.
Strollers were created to make life easier for parents, but with the Stokke Xplory Newborn Stroller, Stokke has catapulted the stroller into a whole new dimension. With careful consideration and out-of-the-box design, Stokke has synthesized the needs of parents with the comfort of children in a way that has never been done before.
Features of the Xplory Newborn:
The Xplory Newborn Stroller includes the Xplory Carrycot, a bassinet that attaches to the chassis of the Xplory. This stylish accessory allows newborn babies to lie flat and ride comfortably. Older babies and toddlers will enjoy strolling with their parent in the reversible Xplory stroller seat, which allows them to face Mom or Dad, or face outward to see the world. The stroller seat has 3 reclining positions when facing the parent, and 2 positions facing outward. The Xplory seat raises and lowers effortlessly, and the handlebar features a multitude of adjustments to be comfortable for a person of just about any height.
Strolling in the Xplory stroller, children ride high enough off the ground to truly enjoy their surroundings. Children can look into their parent's faces, gaze at the sky, or interact with the world around them. In a typical stroller, a child is staring at dogs' tails, fire hydrants, and car exhaust pipes. By elevating children away from the mundane, the Xplory encourages curiosity, observation and interaction.
The Xplory is made from lightweight aluminum and automobile-grade plastic. The rubber wheels provide shock absorption for a smooth ride. The Xplory can be used in several different configurations. The larger back wheels can be kicked forward, enabling you to ascend or descend an escalator or flight of stairs safely. Conveniently, the Xplory can also be used as a high chair in a restaurant or café.

Stokke Xplory Newborn Grumpin' Boston, MA
5.0 beans out of 5.0 beans Pricey, but worth itOctober 3rd, 2011 Pros: Easy To Steer, Sturdy, Comfortable Cons: Heavy I LOVE this stroller. It steers easily, turns on a dime, is comfortable for my tall husband, and handles Boston's brick and cobblestone streets without too much bumping around. The shopping bag is deceptively large, and the wind cover and hood are great. I have only used the carrycot option so far. My baby has used it as a bassinet since we brought him home. At first we were a little put off by the price, but decided to splurge anyway and we can't be happier with it. Totally worth the price. We live in the city and don't drive, I imagine if you were transporting the stroller in a car frequently it might be a bit more cumbersome as it doesn't seem to collapse as fully as some other brands. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. You flagged this review
