Stokke Sleepi Systems in Detail
Crib Only
The Sleepi Crib is oval-shaped. Not only is this an elegant, modern design, but one that echoes the womb, thus creating a calming and familiar environment for your baby. Unlike traditional cribs, its sides do not descend. Parents simply reach down over the sides to pick up their baby. It’s easy, safe and comfortable. The mattress platform adjusts to four height positions. Like other cribs, you begin with the highest position and lower it as your baby grows and matures. The Sleepi is set on lockable wheels, allowing parents to gently rock the crib to help soothe their baby. Also, because the Sleepi is narrower than a standard crib, it fits through most doorways, so it can be wheeled easily from room to room.
The Sleepi Crib, like all Sleepi System pieces, is constructed from beautiful, environmentally friendly cultivated beech wood. The mattresses are made of high-quality, hypoallergenic foam with superior ventilation. The overall design is elegant, modern and comfortable.

Mini Bassinet + Sleepi Crib
Sleepi System I includes the Mini Bassinet, plus all the pieces you need to convert it into the Sleepi Crib. The set comes with two foam mattresses, one for the bassinet and another larger, thicker one for the crib.
Mini Bassinet
The first stage in the Sleepi System is the Mini, which is a round bassinet. New babies require frequent attention and often sleep in the same room as their parents. The Mini’s size and design is a perfect fit. The Mini comes with a drape rod from which you can hang a fabric canopy (sold separately) for embellishment and a bit of privacy. (Please note that the Mini Bassinet can be purchased only as part of System 1 or System 3. It can no longer be purchased individually.)

Sleepi System 2 provides you with the Sleepi Crib, plus all the parts you need to convert it to a Junior Bed. This includes two foam mattresses, one for the crib and another larger mattress for the bed.

Junior Bed
If your toddler can climb out of the crib, it’s time to transition to a bed. The Sleepi System is one of the best transitional toddler beds we’ve seen. Initially, all you need do is remove one section of the railing. This leaves most of the bed still enclosed, providing your toddler with much-needed security. It eliminates the common problem of your child rolling out of bed onto the floor, making the transition from crib to bed worry-free for everyone. Once your child is comfortable with sleeping in a big-kid bed, you can use the conversion kit to lengthen the system, pop in the longer mattress, and you have a Junior Bed, appropriate for kids up to age seven.
When your child graduates from the Stokke, you can convert it into two curved chairs. The chairs are great accents for any room, and are great spaces to curl up with a book. (Please note that the chair covers are sold separately.)
